I have worked with Rich Frigon and the team at One On One in multiple roles over the last 15 years.  My initial exposure was as a new leader of a large international team where I went through the 360 Review process as well as took my team through the same assessment.  The learnings allowed us to really focus on developing our culture as a leadership team and hone in on the leadership improvement needs and skill sets of each team member.  We then deployed Rich and the team to work with each of the individual leaders down a few levels at the manufacturing site leader and direct report teams.  This was simultaneously deployed in roughly 10 locations covering 4 countries.  We eventually covered over 100 leaders in our organization, all who went through 360 reviews and conflict management.  Additionally, we used the skill and gap assessments to develop personal development plans for each individual which Rich and the team followed throughout the year to monitor progress and provide individual coaching.

Another valuable use of One On One HR that I used was situational coaching.  We had several instances of a new leader joining, tough individual circumstances, or bad team dynamics where we deployed Rich and the team to help work through an improvement plan. This involved a deep assessment of the current situation using the tools at their disposal, feedback to the individual, formulation of a plan, and followup on the plan.  What I greatly appreciated was the collaborative approach we had to work on these often-sensitive situations. 

So, here we are 15 years later and I find myself a new leader in a private equity held portfolio company with a young leadership team that has not experienced formal coaching.  I have recently engaged One On One to conduct 360 reviews, conflict management, and skills assessments for my team leaders.  I have no doubt we will have a successful shift in our effectiveness as a team in part due to the engagement with Rich and the team at One On One HR.
